990 KES buys you 12 GB of data that you can use over a week, with Telkom throwing in 50 MB on WhatsApp and 60 minutes on-net calling per day. That's pretty generous, giving you 1755 MB of data to use per day at 141 KES on average and the flexibility to spread your usage over a week.
Safaricom Weekly 10GB is a similar bundle giving you 10 GB for a week at 999 KES. Faiba 7 Days Data 15GB gets you 15 GB at a neat 500 KES but better check that you can connect and that your phone is compatible with their network.
Telkom Freedom Daily 2GB gives you 2 GB per day at 99 KES. Simple math means that you pay 693 KES for 14 GB over a week. Hey, that's quite a bit cheaper... Airtel Daily Data 2GB does pretty much the same. Hurray for the power of competition!
Best value for us would be to pay 2000 KES for a month on Airtel 30 Day Data 36GB or Telkom's own Freedom Monthly 36GB both for 36 GB per month. That's a more than decent 1,3 GB of data per day to use at 100 KES on average.
Don't forget to activate your free Amkia MBundle for 50 MB every day between 6 and 8 AM. Subscribe by dialling *50#
Our review conclusions: Great value for money but buying 7 daily data bundles give you more and costs you less. So what's the point????
